Martin and myself the day at Bernina University when it was announced I was on board. You have to love Martin's out fit! BU was held in Texas that year and Martin came in riding a white long horned steer (ask any dealer about the year he was Dorothy in Kansas). I was sitting in the front row and realized I was a moment away from being a shish ka bob on the bull's horn. It has been a blast ever since that fateful day!
I love Bernina and always find myself at home in Aurora, IL.

color dislikes
WOW, the discussion about disliked colors really hit a nerve with me. I love ALLLLL colors pale, light, brights, pastel, beige, tan and khaki but I totally dispise the color brown ever since I was a little girl the color brown was a color I totally could not stand, I do not own any clothing. And my fabric stash? well the only brown there is what a friend sent to me (23 fat quarters) for a RAK (random act of kindness). But after listening to podcast #1 on my new ipod and then listening to it again 4 more times from the website I realize what how hard of a nerve it struck in me. I am going to TRY to make myself buy some brown fabrics, hopefully I will be successful. Now on another note, Alex, it was YOU (and Simply Quilts program) that got me interested in quilting. I don't remember the episode number, but it was with Cindy Ramming doing the "stitch n' flip baby quilts. I had all the Simply Quilts recorded and when I say this I sat up paid close attention, I replayed this episode about 6 times and with a determination I went to the store to buy fabrics to make one. That first quilt now hangs on the wall above my desk, and I will never let it go, not even to my first grandbaby. I saw that episode in Oct. 2006, which by that time Simply Quilts no more just the reruns. THANK YOU for being my "mentor" and inspiration into quilting. Louise aka: quiltylouise64

What is a podcast?
A podcast is really just any show (audio or video) that is available online, and is set up so folks can subsribe to it. While many sites offer a direct download of their shows, it's the option of subscribing (sign up for automatic downloads of new shows) that makes an online show a "podcast."

How can I subscribe to this podcast?
If you would like to download new shows as they become available, automatically... you will need to use a player that knows how to subscribe to podcasts. The most popular choice at the moment seems to be Apple's
iTunes. You can learn more about listening to podcasts with iTunes here..

Already have iTunes? Just click on this link to open iTunes and listen to the show. Don't forget to subscribe and iTunes will download new shows automatically!
